This morning when I arrived at Horsley Park I was met by the Irish Team Riders coming back from the dressage having supported Trevor Smith on High Scope.
Trevor did a 65 dressage, which was a little bit disappointing on his behalf, however, he is looking forward to tomorrow's cross-country. Second last to go into the ring this afternoon was Austin O'Connor on Horseware Fabio. Austin did a lovely test and
rode extremely well to receive a mark of 52. Both himself and Trevor will hopefully make up ground on the field tomorrow on the cross-country.
I am disappointed with the comments made by Mark Kyle, on the Eventing Ireland Site, with relation to the Irish Team's performance and I am considering my reply.
