It is owned and managed by Neil & Virginia McGrath, who are both experts within their own fields of the equine world. Neil, a successful Racehorse Trainer, Thoroughbred Breeder and Bloodstock Agent. Virginia, an International Rider for the past twenty years, a dual Olympian, European Team Bronze Medallist and member of the Irish International Three Day Eventing Squad.
Neil McGrath manages a large and successful portfolio of thoroughbred broodmares for his international clients. His advice in relation to breeding, sales planning and purchase of bloodstock has been a constant source of success for his clientele.
Virginia rides and produces numerous top class horses. In conjunction with this, she trains and produces horses and individuals to compete at the top level of competition. Her experience and knowledge is offered to riders, giving education, confidence and experience developing their skills.
Our goal is to provide and find top class horses in not only the Thoroughbred world but also the Sportshorse world. At Irish-Equine we make our knowledge and experience available to you. Together, Viginia and Neil have in excess of fifty five years competing, performing and working at the top level of racing, breeding and eventing.
Over the past fifteen years we have successfully entertained clients from throughout the world. We have advised and arranged vacations and business trips for a large international clientele. We have purchased and exported horses to all major horse centres in the world. Our experience in purchasing and transporting horses ranges as far a field as East and West Coast America, Australia, South Africa, Korea, and Japan.
